Course description
Students will gain more in-depth supervised practice experience in an agency setting - government and non-government. In the practicum students will have the opportunity to apply counselling theory and knowledge and skills-based training in live counselling sessions. To pass this course, students must demonstrate competency in interviewing clients around a range of presenting issues and show critical reflection on their knowledge, skills, and attitudes to clients and self.
