Course description
Scientific visualisation is the use of images to provide insight into phenomena, and is a key tool for the analysis and understanding of biological, physical and engineering models. It is becoming ever more important as the size of data sets continue to grow due to increasing power of computers and measurement devices. This course provides an introduction to data analysis and the use of computer visualisation packages to understand and interpret computational models and their relationship to real world data.
