Course description

This course focuses on the real decisions that face managers and policy-makers where you will explore how conservation planners identify efficient systems of conservation sites that include a suite of biodiversity targets at a minimal cost. The basic tools of conservation decision making will be introduced: systematic conservation planning, multi-criteria decision-analysis and risk assessment, and you will apply those tools to real and complex conservation problem, bringing together all the elements of the Masters program.
