Course description
Students completing a minor in Environmental Engineering must complete CIVL3150. Note that CHEE2501 is a recommended pre-requisite for CIVL3150. Only students completing the Environmental Engineering minor should do CIVL3150, all other students should do CHEE3007.
Principles of model development & solution for aquatic, atmospheric & other systems of environmental interest; lumped parameter & distributed parameter models; model validation; river modelling, estuary modelling; chemical equilibrium aspects; biological aspects.
