Course description

This course is designed to develop students' practical skills in translation from English into Chinese and translation revision to the level of Certified Translator (formerly known as Professional Translator or Level 3) of National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI). Students will develop an insight of high quality translation, skilfully apply translation techniques in practice, translation revision skills, and practise in subject areas including business and trade, international relations, science and technology, and tourism. The link between theoretical concepts and practice will be emphasised.
