Course description

This course is designed to further develop students' practical skills in translation from English into Chinese & vice versa up to the level of Professional Translator (formerly Level 3) of National Accreditation Authority for Translators & Interpreters (NAATI). Students will develop an insight of high quality translation, skilfully apply translation techniques in practice, use computer in translation, & practise in subject areas including society, business & trade, law, international relations, science & technology. The link between theoretical concepts & practice will be emphasised.
