Course description

Students are trained in identifying, sourcing, reading and citing primary articles in Chinese relevant to their Honours dissertation in the field of Cultural Studies. On completing this course students should be competent in locating and using Chinese language research materials in the field of Cultural Studies; be familiar with relevant bibliographies and indexes; be familiar with common Chinese transcription systems and specialist terminologies; and have compiled a small bibliography of Chinese-language Cultural Studies materials relevant to their dissertation topic.
