Course description
This is an introductory course to written Chinese for students with no prior knowledge of the Chinese language. This course introduces reading and writing Chinese characters, and includes structural analysis of both traditional and simplified characters, and important grammatical patterns. CHIN1200 starts at A1 level on the¿CEFR language proficiency scale, and enabling you to reach a low A2 level in reading and high A1 level in writing.
