Course description
Drug delivery, chemical methods for enhancing drug absorption, stability & efficacy. Modifications using lipids & sugars to optimize physico-chemical properties, improve metabolic stability & enhance permeability of biological barriers & to target the constructs will also be discussed. Relation of the active sites of enzymes to enzyme action. Biological electron transfer processes. Chemistry of inorganic & organic drugs.
