Course description
Influence of environment on plant distribution & ecosystem structure & function; plant responses to low nutrients, fire, salinity, drought, oxygen deficiency, rising carbon dioxide, toxic metals; plant stress indicators & non-invasive monitoring techniques (biomonitoring & physiological profiling); phytoremediation; chemical defence systems; interactions with pollinators & dispersers.
