Course description

This course provides a current overview of cutting-edge innovation in biomanufacturing biotechnology. We will cover, in detail, specific enabling technologies driving change in biomanufacturing industries. This includes, but not limited to:

  • Antibody design and production
  • Cell line engineering
  • Vaccine production
  • Upstream and downstream bioprocessing optimisation
  • Analytics and quality control
  • Regulatory issues and process economy

Students will learn about the current global trends in biomanufacturing and how cutting-edge biomanufacturing tools are changing industries to meet demand.
