Course description
Biologics include a wide range of products that include vaccines, blood and blood components, somatic cells, gene therapy, tissues and tissue-engineered products, and recombinant therapeutic proteins. The course will cover a variety of topics associated with the discovery, development, characterisation and production of biologics as human therapeutics, focussing predominantly on recombinant therapeutic proteins. The course will provide an in-depth coverage of the technologies and bioprocesses associated with biologics production. The course will also have a major focus on the global biologics industry and its continued evolution.
