Course description

This course provides a foundation for understanding the role of drugs in human disease, their adverse effects & fate following administration. The molecular mechanism of drug action & their effects on the central nervous system, cardiovascular system, respiratory system & endocrine systems are covered. General concepts of toxicology of drugs & other environmental chemicals are also presented.
