Course description
An integrated pathophysiology and related pharmacology in human disease relevant to allied health sciences. Students will be introduced to the physiology of major systems (nervous, respiratory, vascular, endocrine) and how the process of ageing can disrupt these systems and lead to disease. Students will be introduced to common medicinal drugs used in the treatment of conditions mentioned in this course.
