Course description
This course will examine Australian-focused advanced topics in zoology including the problem of invasive species, rapid survey techniques, animal identification, environmental impact report writing, insects and insect pest, paleobiology and a unit on what professional zoologists do in their jobs. The course involves lectures, discussion groups, laboratories and a weekend field trip to Mt Glorious. There will be an extra cost for the weekend field trip to cover the cost of transport, accommodation and food.
