Course description
NOT AVAILABLE AFTER 2009. DNA & RNA technology including cloning, fingerprinting, cDNA & gDNA libraries, Southern & Northern blotting, RT-PCR. Protein purification & expression, mutagenesis, proteomics & mass spectrometry. Advanced technologies including transgenic animals & plants, RNA interference & array technologies, and molecular systems biology. Strong emphasis on research & laboratory work.
