Course description
Indigenous Language revitalisation champions build strong language communities through diverse language and cultural activities, growing language in use and making language more visible in public life. In this course, we examine ways that language planning, policy and status locally and globally open up or close down spaces for languages. Students consolidate and apply knowledge and practical skills developed throughout the program and extend project design and management skills by creating a community-focussed language project.
