Course description

This studio equips students to shape the future of architectural design within an evolving global context. By applying design research methods, students address critical social and environmental challenges through the exploration of speculative scenarios and innovative architectural solutions. They will operate in an offshore context, exploring and analysing diverse sites and climates to inform their design decisions. They will choose materials and construction systems that enhance environmental outcomes. The course emphasises the development of formal verbal and visual presentation skills, enabling students to effectively communicate their design concepts and solutions with clarity and impact.
