Course description
Basic architectural design. Emphasis on process & method in problem briefing & analysis, synthesis, testing & the appropriate presentation of solutions. Environmental constraints & human needs interpreted as functional, social, aesthetic, material and climatic factors in design. Further architectural communication techniques, concentrating on 3-D representational drawing, rendering and modelling. Introduction to 3-D computer modelling packages.
