Course description
This architectural design studio introduces students to the analysis of site and context in the design process. It utilizes techniques for mapping historical and current land use, topography, environmental characteristics, and First Nations knowledge of Country to inform the placement, design and tectonics of small-scale buildings. Through visual composition processes and methods for addressing external conditions, students will develop responsive and thoughtful design solutions.
