Course description
The application of behavioural science as it relates to the horse and human-horse interaction. Basic learning theory is applied to all horses at all levels of training from birth to performance, with particular emphasis on horse welfare and behaviour. The biomechanics of equine locomotion and its relationship to training, exercise and performance are examined. (External students- 4 day Residential School and may also include a 5 day work experience placement.)
