Course description
NOT 2010 A study of Alexander the Great as man, king, and ideal for later Hellenistic monarchs. Emphasis will be placed on the model provided by Philip II, on Alexander's behaviour and achievements, and on developments in the Hellenistic world following Alexander's conquest of the Persian Empire.
