Course description
Anatomy for Paramedics will introduce students to the anatomy & physiology of the human body's systems (e.g. cardiovascular system) including their basic functions and integration. Students will gain instruction in gross anatomical structure and function, histology, basic physiological principles as well as pathoanatomy. Paramedic Science students will learn alongside other Faculty of Health Science students, but will also receive specialised classes designed to provide paramedic-specific content and contextualisation to prepare them for their future role as ambulance paramedics.
