Course description
This course examines the financial & environmental aspects of diversification options for the rangelands. This course looks at how to research options & conduct market research; investigate supply chains & markets; find start up funds; investigate legal restrictions; project cash flows; use qualitative forecasting techniques & deal with risk. Offered alternate years: 2009, 2011 etc. NOTE: The Intensive offering may involve additional costs associated with its offering in a remote location. (Minimum enrolment required: 5 each for External & Internal mode, 8 for Intensive mode)
