Course description

In this course students develop critical analytical skills to examine the complexities and key issues facing the disciplines of Architecture, Design and Planning in the international context. Through field research, students learn to apply relevant research tools and strategies to address discipline-specific challenges, evaluating both primary and secondary research sources and integrating theoretical and practical perspectives. The course also invites students to compare how global issues manifest across various cultural and geographic landscapes, and to connect these insights to Australian practices.
