Course description

This signature third-year interdisciplinary studio course challenges students with project-based learning to tackle real-world sustainability challenges. Working in multidisciplinary teams, students apply collaborative research methods to identify and frame a sustainability problem within a given context. Through the negotiation of a shared, evidence-based position, students independently develop a solution from their own disciplinary perspective in response to the identified problem. Emphasising effective communication, the course equips students with the skills to convey their ideas across disciplines and to broader audiences. Through both independent and team-based activities, students will gain deeper insights into their own disciplinary practices while developing the collaborative expertise necessary for contemporary professional practice.
