Course description
This course aims to engage students with current and emerging Indigenous approaches to methodological analysis in research. Decolonising approaches are central to this course through in-depth analysis of the informaitonal and regulative discourses embedded in research paradigms and the various ways these discourses impact on Indigenous communities and their knowledge. A particular focus of this course is Indigenous Philosophy which forms a basis for the exploration of informational frameworks that affirm Indigenous cultural reproduction and contributes to the social cohesion of Indigenous Communities.
